I swear they gave us like “9000” new animations last year, yet only a couple were good competitively. If there were plenty of good animations to the point where you’d see plenty of variety on the park then I’d say 2k nailed it. I’ll wait a bit before coppin this. Also I hope it costs less to make builds, that’s what people hate the most

I see nothing that really moves me to buy this game as it sits

The custom visual cue is the best shooting mechanic they ever added into the game.
It was annoying how I would use release timing but I would actually have to release it at push because the release itself was too quick.

Then everyone will complain defense is “way too good, need to nerf” then 2k listens nerf and by doing that messes up some other components of online play… then a the downward spiral of patches and then boom community complains and we are now back at the same season 8 cycle saying “why is there no gameplay for 2k26 in July” 😊 rinse and repeat

I hope they improve the speed of stepback hop jumpers. Especially Damian Lillard’s. His step back is so quick IRL.

Let’s all put the unnecessary money that we spend on this crooked game and hire real game engineers to build and create a real basketball game that we all can enjoy together without being frustrated do to no fault of our own. I'm still buying this game since it's still a great bball game. Everyone's views of the game have been tarnished because of MyCareer. That mode makes you hate basketball. It's the most toxic mode. I'm sticking with my league and ERAS.

The crazy thing is, they keep trying to implement shots out of the right stick but people rarely use it because it’s not effective. Does anyone remember that feature in 21 current gen using the right stick the tapping RT to green the shot in the middle? Or l believe 19 where you could aim the right stick but it was another high risk high reward? This rhythm shooting will not be a skill gap. It’s simply going to be used to get clips when you’re up big in the game & you can play around

Why can’t the cpu continue to play smart defense when the menu is up? The players just let the opponent score, even worse the menu can only work during a live ball and while taking it out is completely stupid!

I know this might be a hellmarry idea for 2k to do is give pc the next gen build, there should not be any reason that pc is forced to run the old version, am ok with pc not having cross play just want the next gen build like console.

Shot canceling was in the game and they took it out lol. Im getting on pc because i cant wait to see what modders do now that we finally dropped last gen on pc and get current gen. Im done playing online. The sellers are out of hand and ruin the experience. If i can shoot 70% as a very average 2k player .....no way should dudes be shooting 2/11 and standing out of bounds. I didn’t want to write wang from my twitter someone needs to ask how does the goto shot animations transition into the rhythm shooting or if doing that is even possible because if he’s saying you have to hold the analog in a certain direction to start the goto shot animation if I let go to start the rhythm shooting motion would that just cancel out the shot and force a “new” shot cancel animation
