Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Rotan and was a homemaker. She was a member of Woodmen of the World and one of the organizers of the local Tau Phi Lambda sorority chapter.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and the widow of Fred W. Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Camille Mansell of Ruidoso Downs, N.M., and Pat Butler of Abilene; a brother, Livian Harris of Portales, N.M.; a sister, Alwyne Sandusky of Merkel; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Marnita Bush Martinez CROSS PLAINS Marnita Bush Martinez, 43, died Thursday at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Sunday at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Rising Star, with Gary Adams officiating. Burial will be in May Cemetery. Born in Fort Worth, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her parents, D.E. and Louise Bush of Rising Star; a daughter, April Bush of Rising Star; three brothers, Paul Bush of Abilene, Mack Watson Bush of Rising Star and Johnny Watson of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Cathy Tate of Burleson and Tammy DeRouen of Rusk.

Charles Sam Bruce WINTERS Charles Sam Bruce, 72, of Llano and formerly of Winters, died Thursday in a Llano hospital. Graveside services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Bradshaw Cemetery, with the Rev. Gayland Broadstreet officiating, directed by Winters Funeral Home. Mr.

Bruce was born in Bell County and lived in Abilene before moving to Winters in the early 1960s. He moved to Llano in 1979 and was a Baptist. Survivors include two sisters, Beth Buchanan of Abilene and Lucille Hord of Winters; and several nieces and nephews. Lucia Molina ANSON Lucia F. Molina, 81, died Friday in an Anson nursing home.

Services are pending with Rudy Garza Funerals in Harlingen. Local arrangements were handled by Elliott- Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. Mrs. Molina was born in Rio Hondo and was a retired farm laborer. Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Losano of Anson; a brother, Frank Molina of Dallas; seven grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Louisiana Groves COMANCHE Former government employee Louisiana Groves, 83, died Monday in an Abilene hospital. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with David Toss officiating. She was born in Diamond, and was a clerk typist for the U.S. government.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Reese of Comanche; two sons, John (Jack) Moore of Phoenix and James Moore of Pacheca, three stepsons, Le Roy Groves of Roswell, N.M., Donnie Groves of Fremont, and Ronnie Groves of Madera, four stepdaughters, Barbara Milan and Donna McFrancis, both of Sapulpa, Beatrice Palermo of Baltimore, and Doris Robinson of Tulsa, a sister, Palermo of Baltimore, and Doris Robinson of Tulsa, a sister, Georgia Cogar of Oregon; 28 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Vera Savage EDINBURG Former Stephenville resident Vera A. Savage, 90, died Friday in an Edinburg nursing home. Emil V. Becker officiating. Burial will be in Allard Cemetery. Born in Erath County, Mrs. Savage was a homemaker and moved to Edinburg from Stephenville six years ago.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stephenville and was the widow of Ruben Savage. Survivors include two sons, Dr. Norman Savage of Edinburg and Dr. Howard Savage of San Antonio; a daughter, Louise Darby of Crandall; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. James L. Morrow GORMAN Longtime area resident James L. Morrow, 80, died Thursday in an Eastland hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.

Clarence Wilson officiating, assisted by Marion Fondille. Burial will be in Eastland Cemetery. Mr. Morrow was born in Dublin and had lived in the area for 72 years. He was a farmer and a member of Kokomo Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Naoma Elizabet Creager Morrow of Gorman; a son, Larry Gaylon Morrow of Plains; a sister, Myrtle Elston of Huckaby; and three grandchildren. Sue Adams MIDLAND Sue Adams, 78, formerly of Ranger and San Angelo, died Friday at her residence. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, with Don Mitchell and Eli Bordon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.

Born in Jayton, she moved with her family to Eastland County as a child. She worked as a waitress in Ranger before moving to Odessa. In 1966, she moved to San Angelo, later moving to Midland in 1975. She was a member of the Church of Christ, attending Westside Church of Christ and Greenwood Church of Christ. She was the widow of James Harvey Adams.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Shelby) Edwards of Midland and Mary Lou Bates of Odessa; a brother, J.W. Dugan of San Angelo; three sisters, Thelma Watson of Tomball, Myrtle Kendall of Grove City, Ohio, and Lucy Largent of West Branch, five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She and her husband, the late Edgar L. Green, farmed and ranched in the Caddo area. She was a member of Caddo Methodist Church and a housewife.
