A Neat Trick For Storing Monofilament Spools Onboard

Tired of watching as your small bulk spool of monofilament leader material falls from the console and commences to unwind all over the boat? Use this simple trick (one that I have been using as well to cover appropriately-sized camera lenses in my camera cases for years).Koozie Leader Holder

Use an inexpensive soft foam “Koozie”-type insulated drink holder to contain the line spool, and as such, the line.Place the line in the holder with the label up, and simply pull line free as you need it. This trick is as simple as it gets, only takes a moment to do, and saves hours of frustration.

If you have a drink holder on your console, for convenience’s sake, that’s all the better.
